Here’s a cover image chosen at random from my collection.
I really enjoyed this series for the most part, and wish DC had continued with it. This issue, story-wise, was ok (really, it was kind of lackluster except for the whole no killing thing Flash has to wrestle with), but the standout was Jesus Saiz’s art. I read this issue and said “Get this guy on an ongoing, pronto!”
I meant to publish my most recent podcast on Monday, but that obviously didn’t happen, so here it is along with my usual list of comics coming out this week. Note that comics are out on Thursday because of the Labor Day holiday.
Please pardon the hastiness of the audio editing. Hopefully I’ve caught all of the glaring and embarrassing stuff. When you’re ready, please have a listen to Episode 2: Brave and the Bold #35 (23:04):
If you take a look over at the sidebar, you should see a widget titled LBR Podcast. This is something I’ve been wanting to try for a long time now, and I present it to you now with Episode 0 wherein I talk about the Brave & the Bold #34. Why that comic? Because it was the first one on the review stack. Plus, I thought it would be fun to talk about it. Warning: may contain spoilers and a not so radio friendly voice. :) The episode clocks in at 10:10.
I hope you enjoy this, and please let me know what you think of this little experiment! Thanks.
