- 18 DAYS #1: I have no idea what this is about, which goes along perfectly with some out there regarding Grant Morrison’s work. Whatever. I like his comics.

- ONYX #1: This was announced at this year’s Emerald City Comicon as the start of a new push into more superhero type titles from Dark Horse.
- SECRET WARS #4: This is turning out to be the best event comic since Blackest Night.

Pick of the week: I almost gave the to 18 Days, but We Stand Guard by Brian K. Vaughan and Steve Skroce gets the because it’s 1) BKV writing it and 2) the U.S. invades Canada (or, as I like to say, Canadia)?!?! WHY, Uncle Sam, why?
Best cover: 18 Days #1, the Cosmic Krishna version by Mukesh Singh, It’s colorful, intricate, and a tad menacing, don’t you think?
