Pick of the week: I’m looking forward to nearly all of the comics for this week, but the ultimate pick is clearly Alex + Ada #15. This sci-fi love story grabbed my heart and wouldn’t let go, and then twisted it and tore it from my chest! How will the story end? What will be the fate of the titular characters? Will the world be changed in any way? Will the story end well after such a wonderful build up? I can’t wait to find out.

Best cover: I am very tempted to choose Alex + Ada #15, but I think I’m bringing a lot of my feelings about the series to justify that choice, but truthfully, I have to choose Revival #30 by Jenny Frison. It’s mostly the red-hued cover, but you also have the wired fence shown in a yellow tint, providing a wonderful contrast. Plus, Jenny Frison produces a beautiful countenance of Em, front and center. Do you think that the bleeding hands are supposed to evoke Christ imagery?
