Pick of the week: Secret Wars #1 by Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribic. I’m actually looking forward to a Marvel event, but only because Jonathan Hickman is penning it. His Avengers titles run have been awesome these last few years, and I’m anxious to see what he’s been building up to and how it will be resolved.
Best cover: Uncanny Season 2 #2 by Jock. Nice black and white, smokey, evocative cover.
