Pick of the week: Oh, this is an easy peesy one: Uncanny, Season 2 #1 (from Dynamite Entertainment) by Andy Diggle & Aaron Campbell, with a cover by Jock. I fell in love with the “season one” series, and I could not wait until we got more of this superb comic. If you can’t tell, I highly recommend it.
Best cover: New 52 Futures End #48 by Ryan Sook. What a simple, striking cover. The red over black just evokes 2001 and mechanical evil, doesn’t it? It kind of creeps me out.
