Longbox Review

This favorite of mine lasted only one season, and I felt like Sikes does at the end of the show intro when I found out that Fox had cancelled it. In fact, that may have been the first show of many that I liked that Fox would cancel. Of course, my first exposure to this universe was via the film starring James Caan and Mandy Patinkin, but Gary Graham and Eric Pierpoint  were able to transcend the film characters and bring them more to life. I loved the examination of prejudice and the striving for understanding for both species in the film and more so in the tv series. Also, based fully on the intro music, I wanted (and still do) a soundtrack of Newcomer music. This is one of the shows that I feel the pull to rewatch and see how it holds up.
