Happy New Comics Wednesday! Here are the comics that I’ll be getting from this week, a few more items for your consideration, and some news from the last week.
New Comics

- JUSTICE LEAGUE #25
- JUSTICE LEAGUE 3000 #1

- STAR TREK ANNUAL 2013: Fotonovel style Star Trek annual? Yes, please! The Trekkie in me must choose this as my pick of the week.

- DRUMHELLAR #2
- LAZARUS #5
- MORNING GLORIES TP VOL 06
- IMMORTAL IRON FIST COMPLETE COLLECTION TP: This is being listed with “VOL 1” at the end of this title. If it’s a complete collection, how can it be volume 1? Regardless, I am very much looking forward to reading this series.

- UNCANNY X-MEN #15.INH
- ARCHER & ARMSTRONG #16
- SIXTH GUN #36

For Your Consideration
- DC COMICS ESSENTIALS ACTION COMICS #1: I mention this because Grant Morrison’s Superman is wonderful. Experience the beginning for a buck.
- DC NEW 52 VILLAINS OMNIBUS: Who wants this thing?
- JUST IMAGINE: STAN LEE CREATING THE DC UNIVERSE: I’ve always wanted to read this series of books. Maybe I can find this omnibus for cheap somewhere.
- POWERPUFF GIRLS #4: My granddaughter is getting this, but I enjoy reading it to her.
News
- Disney has acquired the rights to Indiana Jones. To paraphrase someone more clever at headlines than I: Disney is buying our childhoods, isn’t it?
- Drew Goddard, a Whedon alum, is named as showrunner for the Daredevil Netflix series.
- Bruce Wayne is to part of the regular cast of the upcoming tv series (is it confirmed that it will be a series?) Gotham. Looks like those in charge of that show didn’t listen to what Greg and I talked about on Episode 55 of the podcast.
- Marvel announced free digital collections for select All-New Marvel NOW! series. You spend $4 on a comic and get the first volume trade? Not bad if you like digital comics.
- Did you see the Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer? Do you also think there’s too many villains?
- SDCC 2014 registration is postponed until early next year so that CCI can get it right this time.
- Comixology is giving away a free digital comic now through Dec. 20.
- Finally, what are the 10 best gifts for fans of comics? Newsarama thinks it knows.
