Here’s a comic chosen at random from my collection.
I couldn’t recall anything about this issue, so I thumbed through it and found a few gems. First, Alfred watching and totally into his “program” (soap opera). Second, Jim had turned on the batsignal so that Batman would be the first to know that Sarah said “yes” to his marriage proposal. And Tim Drake’s father rouses from his coma. The issue ends with a sunrise and hope (which is kind of weird, right?).
I recall really enjoying the Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle run on Batman. These were enjoyable stories with interesting Batman art–many times, Batman is portrayed as blackness on the page with angular eyes and a mouth, but it worked.
