I bought this strictly because Nightwing was involved. I remember thinking that it was about time that Nightwing ran with the big dogs of the Justice League. After all, his buddy Wally had graduated from sidekick to main man, and Dick was just as capable, if not more so, because he didn’t need Batman to be out of the way to take his place among the “big” heroes of the Justice League. I also remember being disappointed in seeing how Nightwing measured up to my expectations in this storyline. As soon as Nightwing left the title, so did I.
