Most touching comic book/comic book scene.
Superman: For All Seasons. The page below is the end of a sequence in the trade that chokes me up every time I read it (it tugs at my heart strings as a father and a son), and this isn’t the only scene in this book that does that to me. This story is a great continuation of the events John Byrne set up in his reboot of the character. While I understand DC’s recent decision to have the Kents be dead in the DCnU and Clark to feel more isolated, more alien, I don’t think it’s the right decision. When Clark (and yes, I refer to Superman as Clark) was connected to his family, he was a better man and Superman–and human being–for it.
