Longbox Review

Favorite comic couple.

Umm, this is a hard one. I loved Dick and Kory together. Dick and Babs. Lois and Clark. Brent and Jade. Batman and Robin. But I’m going with Francie and Katchoo from Strangers in Paradise.

If you haven’t read this fantabulous series, why not? Seriously, you will not read a more beautiful, human story (with some crazy shit thrown in for good measure every once in a while) than in that series. And Terry Moore’s art is just stunning at times. What this couple’s friendship goes through is the very definition of emotional roller coaster. I can’t explain adequately my love for this story, except to say that it is sublime. Go buy the pocket book series and you will not regret it.
