Most annoying character.

Wildcat.

Up until the DCnU started last September, this was the character I thought was the biggest waste of space in all of DC. Since I read the entire run of JSA, I dreaded the times that Wildcat would show up. Or speak. I mean, c’mon! He’s just an old boxer who dresses up like a mangy cat. How did he even survive the Golden Age?! When they introduced his son–a werecat–I thought, finally!, Ted Grant can go to that litter box in Hell, but no, they kept him around, just to annoy me I’m sure. I see no redeeming qualities of this pussy, and I hope he never shows his mug in the DCnU again (but probably will when the Justice Society title debuts).
