DC’s The Source announced today that the very long awaited Teen Titans graphic novel, Teen Titans: Games, would be published this year.
This is something that then Titans scribe Marv Wolfman and artist George Perez started back in 1987. George had drawn about 80 pages before work stopped on the project (click the links above to read more about the graphic novel from the creators themselves). It’s long been rumored that George would get back to it, but something always seemed to get in the way (including, apparently, a lack of interest for a time by DC, according to an interview with Wolfman I heard last year).
Being a HUGE fan of the Wolfman/Perez Titans, this is very exciting to me and I look forward to its release.
